- Starts Sunset - 6:35PM (Stop in before and enjoy the time as club members setup their equipment, and maybe catch a view of some objects before sunset!)
- Ends - When done for the night!
What
- Public Star Observations - everyone is welcome.
- This should be a great night of observation, the chance to see the planets, many moons, galaxies, star clusters, nebula, and other cool objects is not to be missed. Club members will be setting up an array of telescope types and configurations for you to enjoy. Ask questions and enjoy the views, if you need assistance with your scope please ask, there should be someone there that will have the answer.

I don’t see any way we could do an observation with the weather outlook for Saturday, so the observation is canceled.
However the event being held there for the library is still scheduled indoors from 6 until 10:30. I am going to set up our posters and a scope indoors and sure could use a couple of extra scopes and a few volunteers to help out!

- Dia de los Niños, Dia de los Libros (Day of the Child, Day of the Books) - A special treat for everyone in the family! There will be crafts, games, and solar observation. Don’t miss the 7:15 p.m. planetarium show. When it gets dark we can see the stars, the planets and the moon up close through many telescopes provided by the Forsyth Astronomical Society.
