Telescope Workshop
Details for 2010
- I would like to thank everyone that took part - there is some debate about the number of scopes and people that took part but 15-20 scopes and about 100 people, seems to be a good set of numbers!

Hi FAS: Just a reminder that we are having our workshop this Saturday at SciWorks from 1 pm until 5. If you can help out even for a while, it will be helpful. The weather forcast is for COLD, so we will probably be inside.
Hope to see you Saturday.

Stories About The Workshop
“Polar Alignment” by committee, the FAS brain trust undertakes helping a new telescope owner with how to do the time honored task of Polar Alignment. This was a true joy to watch. Next up was “Collimation” and things could not have gotten better. The new owners enjoyed the give and take and great information.
Do you need the “Primary Mirror” for this to work? David does a great job helping this couple with their scope. David thanks, for the outstanding job, you explained everything so they could make an informed decision on what to do. The alignment without a primary mirror was something that should have been filmed!
