Please join us for the April 2023 meeting of the Forsyth Astronomical Society.
In preparation for the North Carolina Statewide Star Party (April 21 & 22 this year), we will take a tour of the night sky in the Kaleideum North Planetarium. In addition to the stars and constellations, we might point out a few interesting deep sky objects.
You don’t have to be a member to attend. If you’re curious and have an interest in space and astronomy, come on out!
The program starts at 7:30 pm. The Society’s business meeting will take place after the program.
As part of the Statewide Star Party, FAS will be holding two observation events (weather permitting).
- Friday, April 21: 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm (at Pilot Mountain State Park). https://ncsciencefestival.org/events/statewide-star-party-pilot-mountain-state-park-2
- Saturday, April 22: 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm (at Kaleideum North). https://ncsciencefestival.org/events/statewide-star-party-kaleideum-north-3
