Last December after many years of planning, the James Web Space Telescope (JWST) launched into space. The first images from the JWST will be released on Tuesday, July 12 starting at 10:30 am EDT. Check out this NASA website for more information.
During last month’s meeting we brought you the “Best of Hubble.” This month we will turn our attention to the JWST with the “Best of Webb”, including, we hope, these first public images from this space telescope of the future.

Remember, you don’t have to be a member to attend. If you’re curious and have an interest in space and astronomy, come on out!
The program starts at 7:30 pm. The Society’s business meeting will take place after the program. The meeting will also be available on WebEx for members.
