As you may know, Kaleideum North will be closing on December 31, 2023. It will be replaced by a brand new Kaleideum museum downtown on 3rd street. The new museum will include The Digital Dome – a full dome digital planetarium. The new Kaleideum will open in the spring of 2024.
November and December will be your last chance to visit the Kaleideum North Planetarium for programs about the wonders of the universe. These include young astronomer programs at 11 am, live sky tours at 3 pm, musical laser shows at 1 pm weekdays, and laser featured artists at 4 pm on weekends.
Yes, the stars are out at the Kaleideum North Planetarium! There is even a rumor that Laser Taylor Swift is scheduled for Black (Hole) Friday on November 24 at 4 pm and on the weekend of December 16 & 17. See the Kaleideum websites for times and admission fees.
After your visit and to learn more about the night sky, come back here to the FAS Website for information about astronomy apps, night sky maps, and more.
