The forecast continues to indicate unsettled conditions for tonight, with at least a 50% chance of clouds and thunderstorms. Our public observation at Kaleideum North is canceled.
Well, sorry, we’re not bringing in a bunch of Hollywood stars. However, the stars will be shining brightly in the night sky. We’ll bring them closer to you with a night of astronomical observation at Kaleideum North (formerly SciWorks) – 400 West Hanes Mill Road in Winston-Salem, NC – from 9pm to 11pm on Saturday, August 26.
Of course, we need a clear, cloudless night, so check our website and Facebook page to make sure this event is still on.
After (or before) the event, to learn more about telescopes, astronomy, and observing the night sky, see our many astronomy resources at fas37.org.
