Public Solar Observation at Kaleideum (Saturday, June 22 from 10 AM to Noon)

FAS will hold a public solar observation at Kaleideum (120 West 3rd Street) on Saturday, June 22, from 10 am to 12 Noon. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares.

See here for directions and parking information.

This event is dependent on the WEATHER. Clouds and rain do make it difficult to observe the Sun, so check with us on the FAS website (www.fas37.org) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ForsythAstronomical/) for a weather update.

To learn more about astronomy, telescopes, and observing the night sky, see our Astronomy Resources and Outreach Events.
