Well, sorry, we’re not bringing in a bunch of Hollywood stars. However, the stars will be shining brightly in the night sky. We’ll bring them closer to you with a night of astronomical observation.
If you want to see the night sky up close or if you want to learn a bit more about binoculars and telescopes, come on out to Kaleideum North (formerly SciWorks) for a night of observing the cosmos. Rumor has it that Saturn and Jupiter might also make an appearance.
Of course, we need a clear night, so check our website (http://www.fas37.org) before coming out to make sure we haven’t postponed this event (the rain date is Saturday, October 1).
After (or before) the event, to learn more about telescopes, astronomy, and observing the night sky, see the Kaleideum Astronomy Resources at https://north.kaleideum.org/astronomy-resources/. This page also lists a few Astronomy Apps you might download for your smart phone or tablet.
