Solar Observation at Winston-Salem State University (Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 AM to Noon)

FAS will hold a public solar observation at Winston-Salem State University on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 am to Noon. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares.

Directions

  1. From US 421 (Salem Parkway/Former Business I-40), take Exit 232 A
  2. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Junior Drive
  3. Go 0.1 miles and turn left onto Cromartie Street
  4. Go about 300 feet and take the first left, which is immediately past the gate
  5. Go about 100 feet and the entrance to Lot E is on the left

Parking is in lot E at the corner of Cromartie Street and Martin Luther King Junior Drive.
