FAS will hold a public solar observation at Winston-Salem State University on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 am to Noon. Solar telescopes will be available to safely view the Sun and solar activity such as sunspots and solar flares.
Directions
- From US 421 (Salem Parkway/Former Business I-40), take Exit 232 A
- Turn left onto Martin Luther King Junior Drive
- Go 0.1 miles and turn left onto Cromartie Street
- Go about 300 feet and take the first left, which is immediately past the gate
- Go about 100 feet and the entrance to Lot E is on the left
Parking is in lot E at the corner of Cromartie Street and Martin Luther King Junior Drive.
